The Entry Fee will be charged for all horses scratched unless: 

Northern Regional Programming Committee policy in respect of the number of trial heats on any given Trial Day from 1st April 2005 be limited to 30 heats. This has been introduced in the interests of safety for all concerned and a desire for Trial Days to be completed within a reasonable time span. Standard NZTR regulations will apply

NZTR BOARD DIRECTIVES: 

Horses being led or ridden on the Taupo Racing Club’s property, must have a bit in their mouth at all times. Leather reins are banned for Track work, Trials and Race days. A Registered Stable-hand or Trackwork Rider must carry on them a current Identification Card issued by NZTR whenever the Stable-hand or Trackwork Rider is fulfilling duties on a Race Course or Training Centre.
